Part 2:How to Restore WhatsApp Messages from Backed up on Computer

Note: Here you are allowed to restore the backed up file to the previous backup Samsung device or another Android as you like.

Step 1. Run Android Backup & Restore and Connect Galaxy S8 to the Computer
Please run Android Backup & Restore on the computer, connect Samsung with the computer and go on allowing debugging on it. Click “More Tools” in the homepage of program. Then, continue with “Restore” button under “Backup & Restore”.

Step 2. Extract Backup File on Computer
Here you will see all backup files of your mobile device previously, choose the one you want to check and click on the “View” button.

When the scan stops, you can click “Restore” to restore the backed up file to any Android device. Now you can open WhatsApp on your Android device.
