Tips:All steps mentioned below are based on the condition that you did have a Google account and back up Android contact with Gmail.
Before restoring your Android contacts from Gmail,you must make sure your syncing function is enabled on your phone then you are required to download contacts from Gmail.
Step 1.Select the “Settings” of the device.
Step 2.Scroll to “Accounts“.
Step 3.Select “Google” to find your Gmail address,and select it and verify that “Sync Contacts” is checked.If you do not add Gmail account before,then just create a new Google account now.
Before you restore deleted contacts from Android, you need to retrieve the deleted contacts to your Gmail.
Step 1.Go to Gmail in your browser.
Step 2.Click Gmail in the top left and choose Contacts from the drop-down menu.
Step 3.Click “More” in the drop-down list from your contacts list.
Step 4.Select Restore contacts.
Since your phone sync function is always enabled,so after following the steps above,you can check your phone to see if your deleted contacts are restored from Gmail.
Tips:Not all deleted contacts on Gmail could be restored through this process.It can only recover the deleted data within the past 30 days.
